Artist in Residence

Bec's Tree House can come to your school to deliver a wide range of creative workshops for children ranging from Prep to Grade 6. Programs vary from one day & week long workshops, to activities for the duration of the whole term. Generally between 2-5 weeks is needed for the art activities. We are flexible and can accommodate for other art activities you may require. Please enquire about costing and more info. Click here for a list of some of the activities to choose from.

Past Residencies have included:

• Production of an art installation incorporating 7 schools within the City of Whittlesea - the 500 students all created giant playing cards that were displayed as an interactive card castle game at the Whittlesea Commmunity Festival.
• City of Darebin Artist in Residency - Children from 3 holiday programs created the Alice in Wonderland Flying Cards display at the Darebin Kite Fesitval.
• St Peters Primary School - 3 Fabric Murals were created for the launch of the new school hall
• Greenbrook Primary - Recurring art workshops, including a City of Whittlesea Grant for 4 murals to be displayed at the Meadow Glen Nursing Home.
• Thomastown West Primary School - Regular ongoing artist residencies including launching the mural at the Art exhibition.

Bec's Tree House can also run art workshops for smaller community projects.
